Santa Cruz Syndicate’s Greg Minnaar (SRAM/RockShox) earned a bronze medal at the UCI World Downhill Championships held in Mont. Ste. Anne, Canada. This was his tenth Elite Men’s World Championships and his bronze medal will join the gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze World Championship medals that he has won in his career.

Sam Hill and Troy Brosnan take out the 2010 World Championships Down Hill at the famous Mont Saint Anne mountain in Canada. Hill finished 2:63 seconds up on Steve Smith with Greg Minnaar 3:00 behind for 3rd. Steve Peat finished 7th 7:61 down......

Sam Hill has damaged his shoulder ligaments, but not broken any bones. We understand that the Specialized plan is that Hill will start his qualifying run this afternoon but will pull over once he’s left the start hut and rest up for Sunday, since he’s a top 20 protected rider this should ensure he starts the finals just to try and salvage some points.
